Furniture use guide
From delivery and installation to everyday living.

Before First Use
01 / Check the delivery and fittings
Check the name, model, dimensions, materials, quantity and accessories. If there is damage, distortion, a missing part or a wrong model, keep labels and photographs, pause assembly and contact Dak Haan customer service or your sales contact.
02 / Unpack and move carefully
Keep blades away from fabrics, leather and coatings. Put packaging and small fittings safely away. Check routes, corners and weight before moving. Separate parts only as instructed for the model. Lift rather than drag.
03 / Use designated lifting points
Do not lift by headrests, backrests, armrests or moving footrests. Professionals must move heavy stone tops and large items using the specified support and securing methods. The floor must be level and all feet stable.
Match assembly instructions to the product
Check the structural version, parts, hardware, tools and assembly order. Use professional installers unless customer assembly is expressly permitted. Do not sit, load or power-test an incomplete structure.
Check each structure separately
For cabinets, confirm the wall, fixings and anti-tip measures. For stone, confirm support, adhesive and curing. For modular furniture, confirm orientation, connections and release methods. For powered furniture, check the supply, adaptor, cable routing and movement space.
After installation
The installer must check connections, stability, moving parts and appearance, then demonstrate correct use. Do not place an indoor product outdoors simply because it includes metal or outdoor fabric.
Assembly values are model-specific
Follow the model-specific instructions for load limits, fastening, anchoring and electrical requirements. If the instructions are missing, obtain them from DakHaan before assembly or use. Disconnect power before installation or maintenance as directed in those instructions.

Living With Your Furniture
Chairs and sofas
Use the normal seating area. Do not sit on backrests, armrests, headrests or moving footrests, and do not jump on the furniture. Do not stand on chairs or tilt them onto two legs. Follow the instructions for designs intended to rock.
Tables and storage furniture
Do not sit or stand on tops or place concentrated loads on edges. Use coasters and heat-resistant mats. Do not climb cabinets or shelving. Observe the confirmed shelf loads and keep anti-tip fixings effective.
Modular and moving furniture
Use only with connections correctly engaged. Release modules as instructed before rearranging. Clear the movement area before operating mechanisms. Keep hands, children, pets and objects away from trapping points.
Regular visual checks
Check stability, connections and non-slip pads monthly, and recheck after moving. Whether, when and how much to retighten is model-specific. Avoid prolonged direct sun, strong heat and damp or pooled water.
Stop use when a fault appears
Stop if rocking increases, connections detach, stone cracks, structures make unusual sounds, sharp parts appear, mechanisms jam or power cables are damaged. Do not modify the structure, dismantle gas-lift parts or repair electrical circuits yourself.
After-sales support and records
When contacting DakHaan, provide order or product details, photographs, the time of occurrence and any action taken. Use the relevant material care booklet for cleaning. Keep product-specific instructions and the delivered document version.
Keep this with the dedicated instructions
Keep this booklet with the product-specific assembly drawings, accessory list, load limits and electrical instructions. Follow the model instructions for assembly and operation. For warranty and service matters, refer to the order terms and the service information supplied with the product.

Cushions and internal fillings
Check cover and filling separately
Feathers, down, fibres, foam and mixed fillings behave differently. Confirm the order and model; appearance and softness do not establish composition or proportions.
Follow the reshaping instructions
For loose cushions approved for reshaping, follow the instructions for gentle patting, fluffing and repositioning to redistribute loose filling. Do not beat cushions with hard objects.
Turn or rotate only if allowed
Turn or rotate cushions only if their construction and instructions allow it. Do not force apart fixed, shaped, single-sided or connected cushions.
Assess softness with recovery
Some loose fillings compress or shift with use and need reshaping. Assess recovery and construction; feather or down filling does not explain every persistent depression.
Check the inner cushion label
A removable cover is not necessarily washable, and the inner cushion may not be either. Do not soak, steam, tumble-dry or expose to strong heat without explicit permission.
When to ask for advice
Seek advice for persistent local collapse after reshaping, sustained heavy feather escape, damaged inner casings, damp clumping or mouldy odour. Do not open and refill the casing yourself.
Feathers and down are different
Filling descriptions must match the actual model; do not generalise one brand or construction to every sofa.
Care reminders & support
Scope
Use this guide for the applicable material and model. Follow the product documents for assembly and special care. Ask for advice if unsure.
Pause treatment if a problem appears
Stop using the furniture if structural parts loosen, stone cracks, mechanisms jam or electrical faults appear, and contact Dak Haan customer service or your sales contact.
Ask before treatment
If you are unsure how to proceed, ask Dak Haan customer service or the staff at your place of purchase for advice before treatment. Provide your order, photographs and any treatment already attempted.
Keep your product information
Keep this booklet, the material care information and the product-specific installation and use instructions for future care, moving and service.
