Designers have reimagined the meigui chair by integrating contemporary mainstream aesthetic sensibilities with modern materials and craftsmanship. The redesigned meigui chair and meigui lounge chair have gained widespread popularity. Now, extending the design concept of "Reimagining Meigui", they have launched the Meigui Bed—an equally sleek, timeless piece that exudes distinct oriental charm.

Traditional stylistic elements of the meigui chair are recreated with clean, bold volumes and lines. Square upholstered panels are arranged in a crisscross layout, achieving a subtle visual balance and reshaping a bed silhouette that is structured, sturdy, elegant and fluid—perfectly tailored to modern aesthetics.
The meigui chair is a classic piece of traditional Chinese furniture. Characterized by its neat, square silhouette, its backrest is typically lower than that of other chair styles and nearly level with the armrests.When several of these chairs are placed in a row beneath a windowsill, their height does not exceed the sill; when paired with a desk, they sit flush with the table edge. It is precisely this distinctive design feature that made the meigui chair highly popular.

With a 14 cm ground clearance, the Meigui Bed boasts sleek, elevated legs that lend a lightweight aesthetic—ideal for compact spaces. The under-bed void allows robotic vacuums to glide through effortlessly, ensuring thorough cleaning. This elevated design prevents moisture buildup, keeps the area beneath the bed neat and hygienic, and promotes air circulation to reduce the growth of bacteria and dust mites.

Two pillows are included with the headboard, which can be directly clipped into the headboard frame for easy assembly and disassembly. This flexible design caters to diverse usage needs, bringing the playful joy of building with blocks. When the pillows are removed, the hollowed-out headboard presents a lightweight and elegant look while offering a two-tier storage function for keeping daily essentials within easy reach. With the pillows installed, the headboard achieves a neater, more cohesive visual appeal and provides a much cozier leaning experience.
