The design elements of the traditional Meigui chair are presented through clean, bold volumes and lines. The interplay of metallic round tubes and square upholstered cushions strikes a masterful visual balance, reimagining the chair into a square, sturdy yet elegantly fluid form that aligns with modern aesthetic tastes.

The metal components of the Meigui Leisure Chair adopt a stainless steel polishing process, boasting both exceptional toughness and a sleek, lustrous finish. The armrests feature a smooth, rounded design for a delicate tactile feel, and the metal connectors linking the armrests to the backrest are accented with the brand logo, elevating the overall refinement of every detail.
The rose chair is a classic piece of traditional Chinese furniture, characterized by its neat square silhouette. Its backrest is typically lower than that of other chairs, nearly level with the armrests—an exceptional design that made it highly popular. Placed in a row by a windowsill, it sits flush with the sill without towering over it; paired with a desk or table, it aligns perfectly with the edge without rising above it.
Seeking to preserve its versatile, clean and timeless form, the designer reinterprets the rose chair through a contemporary aesthetic lens, alongside modern materials and craftsmanship. The result is a chair that blends sleek modernity with subtle oriental charm.
