The armrest design of the Xiaoyuan Leisure Chair revives the iconic curved line of the Federal Chair—where armrests flow seamlessly into the backrest. It provides comfortable support for the arms, reinterpreting this classic design language through a more minimalist, contemporary lens.
晓园休闲椅的扶手设计，还原了「联邦椅」标志性的扶手靠背相连曲线，给予手臂舒适的支撑感，以更简洁的当代手法重构经典语言。
晓园休闲椅和沙发的灵感来源于中国80年代末 90年代初的初代原创设计「 联 邦 椅 」,提取了「 联 邦 椅 」最具有符号记忆的线条 —— 扶手与靠背相连的曲线。采用更简洁的设计手法，摒弃了原本繁多的线条与细节，将时代的记忆与当代的审美与生活方式进行融合。
产品系列的名称来源于设计师所生活的社区「晓园新村」。这是一个充满了生活气息的城市，大街小巷弥漫着温暖的记忆，从小伴随设计师成长的老旧家具散落在街头巷尾，成为人们茶余饭后的社交载体，每次经过看到这样的家具场景，设计师内心都会感到莫名的熟悉感与温暖。
晓园休闲椅为坐靠背一体设计，采用特殊的三维曲木工艺，使休闲椅拥有优雅曲线的同时贴合人体坐姿，给予背部舒服的支撑感，木材的天然韧性结合休闲椅线条的柔和张力，让晓园休闲椅成为空间中实用又好看的存在。
The Xiaoyuan Leisure Chair features an integrated seat-and-back design, crafted using a specialized 3D bentwood technique. This not only gives the chair its elegant, flowing curves but also ensures it contours naturally to the body’s sitting posture, delivering comfortable support to the back. The inherent flexibility of the wood, paired with the gentle tension of the chair’s lines, makes the Xiaoyuan Leisure Chair both a functional seating solution and a visually striking addition to any space.
The name of this product collection derives from Xiaoyuan Xincun, the neighborhood where the designer lives. It is a city brimming with the vibrancy of everyday life, where warm memories linger in every street and alley. The old furniture that accompanied the designer’s growth can be seen scattered across the neighborhood—they have long served as a social hub for people to gather and chat after meals. Every time the designer passes by these scenes of familiar furniture, a profound sense of familiarity and warmth well up in the heart.
晓园系列所表达的是设计师回归自身的生活环境与经历为出发点，将一代人真正所生活与感受过的记忆温度，融入到当代的审美与生活当中。
The Xiaoyuan Leisure Chair and sofa draw their design inspiration from the Federal Chair—a pioneering original furniture design from the late 1980s to early 1990s in China. We extract its most iconic and memorable line: the fluid curve that seamlessly connects the armrests and the backrest.Adopting a more minimalist design approach, we discard the redundant lines and intricate details of the original. This design fuses the nostalgic memories of an era with contemporary aesthetic tastes and modern lifestyles, forging a perfect harmony between the past and the present.
The Xiaoyuan Collection is a tribute rooted in the designer’s own living environment and life experiences. It infuses the genuine warmth of memories shared by a whole generation into contemporary aesthetics and daily life, turning nostalgic feelings into tangible design for modern living.
